Fragment 537 - The Life of Anton Azamatov

::

Tarradiddles

    Fiction, in all its forms, is a lie, except in the case of Poe, but this is an entirely different story. These are things I have written throughout my life, ranging from quick poetry to extensively planned prose. I will admit that I am but an amateurish writer, but my plots and characters are incredibly developed, and perhaps this is what really carries the stories.
    I'm always quite insecure about what I write when I finish, mostly because I know I could have done better (since I write most things at 5am), so it is difficult to just post them online. Most people that asked me for at least fragments have not seen a single word of anything. But heh, here it is. No point in describing your thoughts if you won't share.

Poetry

    Various forms and styles of poetry that I've been collecting through the ages. Though not a long lasting hobby, I feel it has produced some excellent visions of beauty.

::

Short Stories

    Bits of prose on various topics that were just too undeveloped or uninteresting to become novels, and too complicated to shape into poetry.

::

Flight of Aelisar

    My first attempt at a novel, even if of small volume. What started out as an experiment in different narrative styles quickly became the most captivating project I've ever worked on.

Song of Apathy

    With this project I decided to explore a specific feeling I am very familiar with, but do so in the style of short story, rather than a complete novel. I found that limiting myself to a specific world the rules of which I wrote in earlier chapters was a most dreadful feeling...
